Scott was affiliated with Firestone from 1989 to 2019. He was responsible for the daily operations of Firestone including sales, credit operations, asset management (collections), legal and workouts, administration, financial reporting, tax reporting, technology and treasury functions of Firestone. Mr. Cooper served as a member of the Credit Committee. From 2003 to 2005, he served as President of the South Area Solomon Schechter Day School. From 1998 to 2000, he was also a Vice President and Director of UST Leasing Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Firestone’s parent. From 1983 to 1989, Scott was an audit manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley College and is a Certified Public Accountant. Scott served on several committees for the South Area Solomon Schechter Day School in Norwood, Mass and Temple Israel in Sharon, Mass, including the Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Strategic Goal Committee and the Budget Committee Scott is a self-taught, now full-time mixed media artist. His art studio is located on Cape Cod and he specializes in mixed media themed mosaics. Scott primarily uses polymer clay to create one of a kind handmade tiles that incorporate all kinds of materials including glass, cloth, shells, jewelry, beads, pictures and special mementos. Polymer clay is a unique medium that can hold incredibly fine details, textures and colors. These tiles can be personalized with names, dates, pictures, colors and phrases and can be made for weddings, Bar Mitzvah’s, birthdays, anniversaries or any other special event or occasion.
